Centennial Celebration- Hiking Through History

As they hiked, Scouts got glimpses of the some of the influences that shape the UP. Walt Summers entertainingly portrayed a French trader and displayed the wares of Europe that were traded for fur pelts.
Skip Jones told and sang of the maritime history of the Great Lakes from the voyaguer canoe to the Lake frieghers of today.
Father Ben Hasse related the impact of the religious leaders like Father Marquette and Bishop Baraga.
